Scheduled times are block times not flight times. Being that they are flights to SFO which is reasonably delay prone, they usually pad the ~3 hr flight with some extra time. The redeye is scheduled as 3:30 which I feel is a bit more accurate, from gate to gate + flying time. The 9:15 is notorious for being delayed awaiting connecting pax because it is the last flight of the day so I wouldn't plan on getting in early.
