I agree with Andy TLE on this. It seems like it would be a simple thing to have a consistent policy. It's not like it is rocket science to make it one way or the other. I also feel that if on a domestic flight there are Medallions on board and in the back, First should never have an empty seat unless there are not enough Medallions to move into First. A bit off topic, but with reduced capacity on many routes, I feel that non-revs should always fly in the back so as to eliminate situations that lead to posts here about non-revs taking seats in First that should have gone to Medallions.
