The common concern about the exit rows are that other travelers will hang around the open space -- more noise and potentially hitting your feet. Plus you will be close to the galleys and/or bathrooms -- noise / smells / traffic / ... also the exit seats have fixed arm rests.

Advantages of exit row is much more leg space and easier to get out of seat if not aisle.

it comes down to a choice between noise versus leg space -- your decision.
