For a short moment, I thought AA was going "retro" and installing couch seating in the back of the 762, as they had in the DC-6 and DC-7 Flagships. After reading the post, I took the liberty of changing the thread title. Happy flying!

N.B. Some of us are finding SeatExpert is largely better kept up and more accurate than the prettier SeatGuru, which now belongs to much larger TripAdvisor. (Full disclosure requires me to state SeatExpert is part of the Frequent Flyer Network, which includes WebFlyer and FlyerTalk.
I do think SeatExpert's recommendations on this aircraft are decent - the rest depends on your preferences, height, girth, etc. (At 193 cm I like legroom!)
