Do they ?
My business is "connected" with self service kiosks - and all the evidence that I get presented with at conference after conference is that humans prefer kiosks to humans. Once a human uses a kiosk he never goes back to a human....
Yet, I sympathise with what you say...
Even though I have a "financial interest" in the ticket machine at my local rail station - I refuse to use it. I love the interaction with the ticket clerk - he has a great sense of humour and is pretty good at predicting the weather - I know that if I don't use the ticket office, the railway company will claim they don't need it anymore and he will be gone.
I boycott Amazon and use my local bookshop to order books for the same reason. You can't have a chat with a computer about why you are ordering a particular book - But would you bet against Amazon ?
Your posts on this topic make very interesting reading, and although I really love T5 and feel great using it - I can see what you are getting at...
Not sure whether you are correct about humans or not.
Somehow - I actually hope you are !
