I absolutely love Terminal 5 and makes me proud to work for British Airways.

I like many people realise that there are some things could be done better at T5, so does BA management and the comments on FT don't go unrecognised. The escallators are of course part of the design constraints that the building and I would say just use the lifts.
I don't think that there has ever been a terminal opening that has changed the fortunes of an airline as much as Terminal 5 has for British Airways. I can still remember the 45 minute queues for Club check in at T4, 90 minute waits for baggage reclaim and flights and bags being delayed for no other reason other than that we didn't have the tools to do the job.
