I have a couple pilot friends who work for Air Labrador, and even more who work for Provincial Airlines(The airline which taught me to fly. )
I feel terrible that they cut service and are cutting jobs. It's only a matter of time before Provincial does the same.

NL hasn't been as hard as some might think. House prices are still on the rise, and there seems to be more employment.

I doubt Porter will move into this route.
