If you want an upgrade I think moving to DL1957 and DL 65 will get you much better chances, Saturdays are actually a pretty busy day to LAS. It is a vacation destination not a business center. Also, there are big trade shows at the LVCC all of the time as well as concerts and fights. You have to see what is going on to know why flights are tight.
