I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on this particular facility? If so, some questions:
1. How's the overall facility? Is it in good shape? Rooms nice?
Nice rooms in our opinion
2. Is the beach/pool area nice? Good sand, clean, clear water? Beach activities?
Beach is not good on that side. Walk 15 minutes to the other side and wonderful. The pool is fine as is the area but it is just a big pool.
3. Is the area safe? Any crime issues?
I suspect downtown area at night but near the hotel is no problem
4. Hotel restaurants good? Crazy expensive?
Ridiculous and not very good. A few good places and good prices in walking distance. Shiggity Shack is great.
5. Things to do w/in walking distance?
Nothing
6. Cost of cabs to/from airport? For travel around town?
$12 or so but we rented a car at the hotel. Rent in advance!
7. How is the snorkeling/scub diving? Good reefs?
Check out http://www.divestkitts.com/ we have used them both time and they are great.
8. Elites get free Concierge Lounge access?
No lounge
We would likely stay for a week using points and free tickets on Delta. Myself, Mrs. Big Red and 2 rambunctious boys (11 & 12).
