Hi all -- I love reading everyone's postings, but have not been an active poster myself and have never started a thread. But there is always a first time!!!!

Anyway, traveling in C class from SFO to LHR in mid-June on UA and then connecting to BD for a short hop to AMS. Published connection time is 1h 40min. Most of the time I arrive early when flying from the west coast to Europe, so I am hoping that I will more time. Have not been to LHR since UA moved to Terminal 1 and have only flown BD once -- and that was a long time ago.

Any thoughts, stories or advice that might make my connection easier or more fun are appreciated. Also, any good plane spotting areas in T1 if I have extra time?
