It's my first time in Johannesburg, I will be there 8 May - 16 May for business, specifically at the Stock Exchange. After researching hotels in the area I think I have narrowed my selection down to two - The Protea Balalaika or the Hilton Sandton. It seems like the Protea is practically next door to the Exchange which would be very convenient, but I am considering the Hilton because of HH status. Does anyone have any suggestions or insight? I'm sure there are other hotels that I haven't considered but should.

I am also considering extending my stay for some leisure time and would appreciate any recommendations. I will probably be able to manage only two days and want to make the most of them.
