Hello.. I just booked a round trip JFK to HKG. It is my first time to take cathay.
Could I select a seat immediately? The cathay website said online check-in is available only 48 hours before the flight.

I am worried that at that time i may have few selections.

I used to travel with asiana, and we can select seats whenever i have the ticket.
