It's a nice twist to folding your clothes together into the layered bundle with socks and undies in the center, then placed into your roll-on.

I wonder what the guarantee is with all of those zippers? Even the best zippers eventually fail and that bag has several, especially the long inside one that is now being contoured when you 'build' it into the duffel.

Figure out a way to add wheels (tote a week's worth of stuff from A to G at MSP) and it might be more appealing.

I love the homey look of their video studio.
He is definitely not a smart packer! The way he folds the clothes makes me shiver.

In principle you are right about the zippers. But look at the video again. The side zippers are actually not long but two short zippers. They are less contoured and probably see less strain than the zippers on something like a tri-compartment carry-on bag or even the big all-around zippers on a rolling suitcase. Altogether there are six zippers on the bag, not really more than on other bags.

At the price of the bag, one cannot expect a BR warranty, but it's certainly a year and if you add another year from a credit card warranty plan you are at two years. Zipper replacement should be easy. All panels are very easy to access, as opposed to most other bags. I'd think zipper replacement at a luggage store or shoemaker would be around $20 a pop. The zippers themselves cost around $5-10 plus labor. When/IF you have them replaced you can upgrade the zippers to YKK 10 coils or tooth zippers.

Adding wheels would be against the original idea, I'd say. If you wanted to add wheels, you could get something like the Samsonite Micromover cart which would fit in there easily.
