Don't know about Southwest specifically....
..but typically with airlines any non-refundable credit amounts used in that way remain NON-refundable...
No, he is wanting to book a flight to Detroit incase Oklahoma makes it to the Final Four. If they don't he wanted me to find out what his options would be as far as an unused ticket. Even though it's $130 more for the "Anytime" fare I think I will tell him to go with that since he can cancel and get a full refund to his credit card.
