It will be my first time to Greece. I am so excited about the stay on the island. ; ) But, I am a little bit nervous about not being able to find frequent ferry services between Athens and Santorini and to reserve in advance. Wouldn't want to miss the cruise ship ......

I looked up the price flying from Athens to Santorini. It costs about $150Euro, the cheapest. It is more expensive than I expected. Does any one know how I can buy discount plane ticket from Athens to Santorini?
Relax.

Ferryboats in May run far below capacity. This will be even more pronounced this spring/summer, as the Greeks are anticipating tourism to be down 33% in 2009.

There will be a number of daily ferries and hydrofoils running between Athens and Santorini. Once your there, you will see a number of options, including non-stops, as well as ferries that will make brief stops in Naxos/Paros, Mykonos, or Syros. At worst, you might have to change ferries at one of those hub locations.

Just visit a couple of the ticket brokers at the Santorini harbor when you arrive to determine which schedule works best for your return.

You will not have a problem.......don't worry.
