My experience on ARN-ATL is that only beer or wine is the one free beverage with meal. Just flew that route last week, asked for a Dewar's with the meal in Y. I was politely told it was beer/wine only for the free drink and Dewar's is $7. I had a small bottle of Redwood Creek Cabernet (really, Redwood Creek? That is budget California wine...grrr)
Is it a new interpretation of the rule ? My selection of choice has become beer lately, since they got those microbrews. But I know for a fact that even signature cocktails (Mile-High Mojito, etc.) were free with meal as recently as less than one year ago.
