True. Because I travel with snacks, I always mark yes the first box in regards to "Have you brought back meat, fruits or FOOD..." I am not sure what falls under "food", so I mark yes to be safe. I keep all the food/snacks/etc... in a plastic bag to make it easy for Customs to look at it.
Well, I got back from Curacao last week and went through customs in Miami Airport. Has I handed him the customs form, I went to show him the plastic bag. I appeared he did not care.
Oh.. side note. From the time the plane parked at the gate, got off the plane, when through immigration, customs, re-check bags, go through security and get to the gate of my next flight... 55 minutes. I though Miami customs was suppose to be horrible!?
