BD could do what the American carriers do and allow bookings close to departure but charge a ticketing fee for bookings made within say 7 days. So if someone wanted to make an award booking 2 days out it would be possible but we would have to pay £50 to do it or something like that. This way BD get paid for any extra effort it may take to do this, and obviously the ICC operators see none of this
