I thought exactly that: Why didn't I think of that??!
It's simple and efficient and it looks very good. Since a lot of business trip are 2-3 day, this is certainly a good solution. But what I like is how easy it is to pack. So it is certainly not only for business trips. I am sure you could fit 3 pairs of slacks and 3 shirts easily. The main compartment looks pretty roomy and could hold a bunch of sweaters, underwear, toiletries and shoes. I'd say one could probably go on a two week leisure trip with that bag, if the packing is done judiciously.
You are right, that presenter is not a good packer.
The only thing I wonder about is why this didn't catch on. Perhaps it is one of those cases where an idea is too advanced or too good for the general public, or where an idea is too different from the rest of systems and so the general public is suspicious of it.
On the other hand it might simply be a case of insufficient exposure and bad marketing. Apparently there were other models but none seems to be available and they don't have their own website.
I wonder how well it is made and what materials are used. It doesn't look exactly fashionable but neither does my Travelpro Plat5 which I love. I bet they had the system patented or there would be other manufacturers who'd jump on the idea.
What do you think?
