Unfortunately, the rental desk does require a shuttle ride, although I've seen both vans and minibuses used for the trip. It's nowhere near autobahn speeds, though, as it's out of the terminal and down the road for a few minutes.

It's not the worst shuttle trip ever, but it's certainly not as near as many other hertz desks.
