OK thanks for that. I haven't calculated the cost yet but I see that Y is priced at around £225 including charges for a normal Y ticket . I suspect that a Y redemption would be close to this anyway-or would it? I also have not used my upgrade vouchers for this year so could take a chance with those. My g/f would be travelling as well-she is silver.

I calculate M+C would be £140 + taxes +20k miles in Y.

Oxon can you please guide me to the redemption website for BD please. I have only ever used the ANA one.
