The chance for anyone to do that in LHR is very slim.

To answer the security related question - why all airlines have to fly passengers with their luggage on the same flight? If anyone withdraw from that flight, their luggage have to be off load.

This is the same security issue as the security gate. If an airport allows you in and out of security area without special reason, that airport really needs to review its security procedure.
