Hey all I did a search but did not find exactly what I was looking for. My first time to BKK on UA and I am on 891 from LAX-BKK, my question is, it is booked with one flight # but has a stop in NRT, is this a plane change, or can you stay on, have to get off or something else?

Also, I am 1K on a W fare waitlisted, everything shows 9's (but a rez agent told me Y was oversold) do these upgrades usually go to the gate? Finally I am connecting to 891 with a flight from SFO that has cleared...should I switch that upgrade from SWU to e500 just to be safe?
