A free trip to Denmark, with all expenses paid - seriously!

As a long time FT member, and partner at the strategic consultancy Seismonaut.com, I thought FT would be the right place to seed a new concept which is being launched today.

Basically we’re offering you a free trip to Denmark (48 hours) for two. We’ll pay for the plane tickets, your hotel, food and outings + a number of other cool surprises while you are here. You just show up and be digital about it!

What’s the catch? Well we want you to show us how you use digital media when you travel as a tourist. We want you to tell us how you’ve researched the trip, how you use digital media while you are here, and how you share your experiences when you get home. Oh, and you have a really good chance of influencing the future of digital tourism as a whole.

We have two of these packages up for grabs. And as we’re looking for “digital natives” for whom blogging, twittering, sharing of thoughts, pictures and video on the web is second nature they way to apply is by uploading a video to youtube.

We will be on the look out for contenders who have personality, show enthusiasm and are open minded about the different aspects of the project. Couples or two friends traveling together will be considered equally.
