Hi gogarrio,
Unless you have BAEC or OW status you will not be able to get searts assigned until T-24 if you are on an award ticket ( although hopefully there will still be some good seats left although maybe not seats together on the upper deck. )
I would go for
(1) Upper Deck ( you can lower the privacy screen and talk) although SFO -LR will be overnight and you may want to sleep anyway. I feel the Upper Deck is more private and gives a better experience but your experience may vary.
(2) Main Deck sides
(3) Main Deck middle
