I know I've posted this before, but I've been travelling for decades with full size packages of various things -- toothpaste, hand lotion, whatever in my bag, and I never made any changes to my habits after they introduced the rule. I have never put my stuff in a "kippie" bag, although I do usually help myself to a few of the bags when they are giving them out at security.

Every time I travel in the USA, I get SSSS every time, so they search through all my stuff very thoroughly -- take it all out and then let me repack it. Not once has anyone ever said anything to me about my hygeine products in full size packages, or tried to confiscate it. Not once. (I did however, lose three bottles of €70/bottle tequila,)
