Well after an intrepid adventure to Chinatown I've certainly experienced the more interesting end of the travel agent world. Sadly though the majority of the deeply discounted fare buckets prohibit stopovers.

One enterprising travel agent suggested that I feign illness to rebooked on my second segment but I decided that would be a bad idea.

I have a question, is it possible for me to fly SFO-NRT and then simply abandon my NRT-HKG segment without the return flight getting cancelled? I have some *A miles that will expire soon that I wouldn't mind using on a one way ticket.
