We need to do it for genuin reason, and also United can change the flight date only by charging 150$s per peson (rescheduling expenses as my ticket is not reschedulable) + air fare difference, which is way too high.

I have 3 people travelling on this ticket. So I guess this won't be considered as mass scale.
