I already knew that there was no way I could stand to sit in coach for a flight of that duration. I was looking at biz vs. first and also trying to decide if the extra points for Quantas were worth it. The QF F product is apparently truly wonderful, but on their board they advised me that two seats on the same flight would be probably impossible no matter how flexible I was. Yet a few others have posted that they got two on the US board. I am leaning towards UA F, but would welcome any advice.
