One other question, if I may...

On arrival into Brasil, the routing is KL AMS-GRU connecting to JJ GRU-GIG. I assume immigration control happens on arrival in GRU before the domestic flight to GIG. Does luggage need to be claimed at GRU and passed through customs (as is the case with entry into the US, for example)? Or, if luggage is interlined, is it cleared through customs at the final destination of GIG (as happens with arrivals into the EU)?
