Virgin Customer Service

Back in the day when I was a regular with VA (2004-2006) flying to Japan at least twice a month in J class, I always thought they were the best airline in terms of onboard product and customer service. HOWEVER, they are quite frankly an absolute shambles at the moment. Even the 'Premier Service Team' results in hold music for a good 10-15 mins! Product is pretty crap too. Never thought I would utter these words...BA are better, at least for now.

Anyway, I called VA to make a reward booking for a friend and I from EDI-MAN-EDI with BMI. Availability was confirmed (after a 53min call to VA). Despite this, I am still awaiting confirmation of my tickets to my email. I have called VA twice (another 25 mins worth of calls) and emailed them, only to be told 'tickets are issues in priority of travel date, sorry'.

What happened to VA and where are my tickets? Worth ANOTHER call?

To rub salt in the wound, I called BAEC to make a reward trip to Boston for myself...call answered within 5 mins, booking confirmed and tickets sent to my email) within 10 mins, call duration 18 mins. :-:
