I've had my card since 03 and charge and average of $3500 a month. Some months are even way higher. I've always paid off my balance and even the cust rep I just spoke with said I've not had a history of lates etc. So, yesterday I received an email that said my limit is now reduced to $1000 from my previous of $28K. When I called, the person could only say the stock answer, "based on your credit etc....etc.... we have to reduce". That is a huge reduction. Luckily, I have started using a different card to get miles, but I still need that card to accumulate points for that dream Maui hotel. I tried over and over to get the idiot to get a supervisor, or someone, but he just absolutely said "there is no one, due to the high call volume, etc,.....". Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do? Any suggestions? Is it time to move on to another card?
