One more important tip... since you will very likely be waitlisting several people for these upgrades DO NOT book everyone under a single reservation. Book a separate itinerary for each passenger so you'll all be waitlisted separately..that way if 1 or 2 upgrade seats open up at a time then your party would be upgraded incrementally. If you are all on one reservation (or PNR) then 4 upgrade seats must be available all together or else you will get passed over and those in the queue behind you will get upgraded first. It's a sure fire way to end up in coach which means you spent extra $$ for an H fare for no reason.
