In the good old days on the 747 we could move the staff to the cabin crew rest area at the back of the aircraft, but for security reasons we are not allowed to do this anymore, even with our own staff!!!
If they are cabin or flight crew (off-duty) are they allowed to use the rest areas? They would obviously be trained/certified for those areas then. Scratching my head how that would be a security risk...
