Of the true lie flats, NZ also ranks #1 in my books. I guess SQ's seat may be better for its width... but I think I like NZ's Kiwi service better than SQ... and certainly better than OZ service. I have two more NZ C long haul flights so I will have to see if this first experience is an outlier or really a representative of true NZ service.
NZ is better than SQ in C class in my book. The seat is maybe a bit wider on the SQ new biz but the length of the NZ seat is better. The service and food are better on NZ and the staff is Kiwi friendly! NZ definitely has the best C class in *A and probably has the best biz class of any airline flying today.
