Just flew into AKL on NZ's C! I have to say the seats are superb! Wide and flat! Kiwi service is awesome! I have now flown AC, CX, and NZ's herringbone style seats now and NZ's seat is the best.
Of the true lie flats, NZ also ranks #1 in my books. I guess SQ's seat may be better for its width... but I think I like NZ's Kiwi service better than SQ... and certainly better than OZ service. I have two more NZ C long haul flights so I will have to see if this first experience is an outlier or really a representative of true NZ service.
