It's also fun to poke your head out into the aisle when landing and look down the whole length of the fuselage as the aircraft touches down. It really gives you a sense of being in a large, quickly-moving object.
Another interesting sensation is being in row 9 on the p.s. 757s with all those windows and being at the "axis" of the aircraft as it maneuvers in the air. You really get an unusual feeling, much more in touch with actual flight, something that modern jetliners deprive passengers of (perhaps by design).
