Rear-facing seats are perfect for FT'ers / plane fanatics who enjoy flying and want to experience what others have mentioned on here. I always select rear-facing upper deck on BA, so having the same option on UA is a plus. ^

I actually find the landing more exhilarating than take-off when in rear-facing C, as you notice the dip / swing up of the nose a bit more.
