You should get a platinum welcome gift for your personnel room only.

I have on number of occasions booked more than 1 room. I remember last year in Phoenix getting a Platinum giftcard for both rooms but that is the exception rather than the rule.

Last year I book 7 rooms for a family event but did not get 7 welcome gifts. The rooms all did get a particular newspaper in the morning as I had requested it. The hotel credited this off the final bill.
