I am quite satisfied with the catering in TC on AF... but in C, I expect more than plastic wrapped box + plastic cuttlery + plastic glass for Champagne, even on a 2 hours flight!

But with current devaluation of onboard service, frequent flyer programs, etc. the key is actually to fly cheapest and most convenient. This is especially true on AF/KL where you hardly get miles for your loyalty in economy, and you hardly get any value of travelling TC C or ES within Europe, compared to the price you paid. N class is the best

I agree with you and the above comments from brunos.
85% of my flights are Intra-European and I wouldn't pay never for C class because of the strict policy of my company and the inexistant benefit of doing so. Catering is better, ok, but I prefer to spend more money in a real restaurant than a flight lasting 2-3 hours. Yes, they give more privacy and that's good but when I see an airbus with 60 pps jammed in the last 10 rows this makes me upset. Because when you are there you feel like in a Easyjet (or, worse, Ryanair) flight!
In fact the only times I flew Tempo Challenge was because I got a free upgrade from AZ who had cancelled a flight and booked me in a Y class with AF. But now AZ is not cancelling anything and I do not get any free upgrade
