Before this thread becomes Omni-like, I agree with you JB. Some rules are there to protect us. The current liquid ban, however, is a silly rule and does not solve aviation terrorism.

Maybe security administrations and airports should focus on checking 100% of the cargo that's onboard the planes we board as well - now THAT would make me feel more secure!!!
