May I please hijack the thread for a moment and ask my own situation...

Flying on TAM from GIG to GRU (so domestic arrival), scheduled to arrive at 4:40pm. Departing on KL to AMS at 6:40pm on a different reservation/ticket.

Some of the online systems show this as being a legal connection, but I would imagine it is a little tight since the KL checkin would likely close something like an hour before departure. I am assuming that TAM would interline the bag to KL. And it appears that both are in T1 of GRU. Again, this would not be ticketed as a connection, but as two separate tickets.

I don't know very much at all about GRU, so I would appreciate any insight and advice about this connection. Thank you!
