Maybe it's time for a fourth alliance - Medium airlines only
Consider an alliance composed of all the non-alliable airlines:
LY, Olympic, SriLankan, southwest, etc.

These guys almost never compete each other, these guys have nothing to lose, and these guys will be able to generate an alliance which is meaningful.
