No, but the government does. APD (Air Passenger Duty) costs double in premium cabins. So up from £20 to £40 on ex-UK flights to Europe.

Well, the fuel rip-off is higher in premium cabins - presumably because of your increased use of space. There are, of course, arguments for and against this...
