There has been lots of discussion but personal preference seems to govern on what works best for a couple travelling in the pods. My wife and I prefer one behind the other while the 777 gives the centre option with the tiny drop panel in between. If you want across the aisle from each other be aware that the rows are in fact offset and not lined up as shown on the basic AC website seat plan and also on the plan that agents see. The web seat plan does now include the option to see the actual layout, although I find that confusing too having just looked at it again.
