I don't know if IB insists on next available connection or will allow 24H as a transfer window.

If the latter you could overnight in Madrid, as I think the LIM MAD arrrives 1300-ish.

Probably better to call them.

If you want longer in Madrid, you could quit the IB trip after LIM MAD and take a one-way home with the best you can find on IB/BA/easyJet.
