Comparing domestic J, I would pick IT every single time. The reasons are as follows:

Outbound ground service:
- IT gives a kerbside greeter who handles baggage, does all screening etc
- IT checkin can be done easily in the lounge with hand baggage (atleast in DEL & BOM)
- Same greeter will call you from the lounge when the flight is boarding, take your carryon and escort you thru security and into the dedicated F bus and all the way to the aircraft. He will even take your carryon up the jet stairs and deposit it in the overhead lockers.

Onboard
-IT seat is much much more comfortable, much greater recline and proper legrest (not just footrest)
-Onboard IFE/AVOD is a guarantee on IT. Big plus for me.
-Food service is more elaborate, both choice and quality IME, on IT at most times.

Arrival
-Again, the greeter services and baggage help are available. (Just reverse the above outbound procedure!)

My last few 9W domestic J flights have been extremely disappointing onboard. Both in terms of crew and food offerings. I do think 9W is excellent on its international routes though. I would and have recently chosen 9W J over LH,SQ,CX J on several occasions.

Let's see what happens, to finish some expiring coupons, I have routed a DEL-BOM-DEL later this week on 9W J but next week another DEL-BOM-DEL I'm thankfully back on IT J!
