I didn't know this was a touchy subject, but I should have guessed eh? I just got off the ORD-MHT flight, and was happy enough in 11A with an empty middle seat. What I don't understand too well is why ex-TED planes are being spread around to other routes that weren't TED--can't UA just leave them on the ex-TED routes where people came to expect the (shudder) lack of F? I always tried to avoid MCO for just that reason. And I always assumed (apparently incorrectly) that with all those tracks built in for seats and walls that airlines could pretty quickly switch configurations. Live and learn.
