Shall be travelling with my partner and will be an overnight flight. I would agree that 1A and next seat would be good, but I guess chances are slim.
Will opt for a middle seat.
All my previous flights within CW has been on 747 or 777 - do enjoy being upstairs on the 747.

With 2 of you travelling overnight I would opt for 2E&F.
2A has to 'climb' over 1B to get out .
4A or 4B is the bassinet position.
Row 1 isn't really affected by the toilet or galley and 1A is really nice and private with direct access to the aisle.
Just a few further pointers to the different seats.
Cabin similar ambience to the 747 UD.
