A tray of Champagne for the golds in E? wow, that's pretty neat.

I guess some people at BA are taking liberties (or told to do so) to keep those loyal to BA, flying some more, especially in these hard times where many companies are making you fly in Economy over Business... In which case I do approve. What's it gonna cost BA to hand over a little champagne if they know they can keep another few Golds coming back for more and possibly making the extra effort to tell their flight bookers to keep choosing BA over the other companies.

I have to say that the CSD on my MCO-LGW flight too was like mentioned in the first post. He was super attentive, must have come up to me nearly a dozen times during the 8 hours flight, on which I slept some 6 hours... Very, very nice.

A handshake and the attention the CSD provides makes a HUGE difference IMO.
